I know a lot of people are raving about these but sorry i’m not taken, i just prefer phosphor bronze, simple as that. I might try another size on another guitar and see, at the minute they are on a Martin all solid wood, size – custom light, but don’t ring my bell. Just taste i guess, to me they are a bit thin, nice to hear a change but i’m predicting when i put my old faithful D’Addario phospher bronze back on i’ll have a big smile 🙂

Took a long time to get used to and they have changed the tone of my old Taylor, but they are classy strings with some very nice sounds. Tricker to keep in tune than the usual bronze or phosphor bronze, but still worth considering for a more authentic acoustic timbre.

I’ve never owned a bad set of d’addario strings (and these are no exception) – strong, well made and nice feel when playing. One caveat though – these are not the regular ‘variation on a theme’ d’addario strings and the sound and look of them is almost somewhere between acoustic and electric.

Come on. They are the best strings around at the moment BY FAAAAAAR. Everyone is getting into them; all the YouTubers have them if you read their comments. These ring out beautifully, clear, chiming, brilliant tone, but the whole range is brilliant. Price is reasonable; quality is astounding. I have d’addarios on all my instruments now. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

Cannot make my mind up on these. When I first put them on I was impressed. I’ve since changed back to Martin PBronze. It’s all a matter of personal choice.
